Philll

I had a marvelous idea yesterday that centered around riding bikes in the rain. I was gonna go solo, but then Phil thought it was a good idea too?
So we crawled up this ridge and then rode across some little trail that followed this ridgeline. It was pretty windy and the rain was trying to turn to snow. You could see (or fall) in either direction, for a looong way.
The dirt was great though, it holds so much water out here without softening. I was running semi-knobbies and sliding in and out of those dustless, tacky turns was great.
It was so cold while ripping down that I couldn't feel my hands for about forty minutes afterwards. But I think we got some good images, so a little premature arthritis is just part of the game, right?
Maybe I'll post some of the riding photos too, but that'll have to wait for now.

Sam

So easy.

Frischi

This Villa is where our athletes hung out. And rinsed their gear in the pool.

Nino

U23 World Champion, Ridin' Dirty.

Niki

We shot together real quick–pretty much as I arrived–but we were able to come up with these.

Snow

Like, a lot, of actual snow. Spring in the mountains I guess, right? It should at least keep the dust down on the singletrack for a while.

Sea Odor

Out and about in Monterey.
Such a beautiful place. But, it's gotta rain really hard for it to be this nice. I can't really think of a reason to justify the wind though. Hanging out with World Champions and celebrities is interesting. Overall, they're great people. I'll post some outtakes at some point...

Charley_French

This is the gentleman I mentioned a while back. Charley's been through several iterations of the company and lived to tell the tale. These are a few of the products he was involved in developing for the first bike department.

Funny Time of Year

The mountain is almost done, but trails are yet to really open. Patience is a virtue, right?
SB is obviously going the moto route this spring. As for me, I'm going fixed gear. Wish us both luck, I think we'll need it.
